The Christmas Truce

The Christmas Truce: Christmas Activities

For the rest of this half term SUAS will be focused on all things Christmassy!

To commemorate 100 years since WWI our celebrations will be linked to the story of the 'Christmas Truce' and the Christmas message of 'Sharing'.

There are three tasks to choose from, some with a focus on sharing within your tutor groups while others link to the idea of sharing Christmas cheer to people in our local community.

Closing date for entries: 12th December

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day 2014

Thank you to everyone at Stratford Upon Avon School who commemorated Remembrance Day by creating a wall of poppies with your heartfelt messages to our fallen soldiers.

A minutes silence to remember those we lost 100 years ago in WWI and those who have lost their lives in conflict since.

'The Last Post' was played to honour and remember those who gave their lives.
